This mod is being created to test the limits of the P2:CE engine. The engine packages new and improved features, such as: Physically Based Rendering (for more realistic 3D materials), Parallax Corrected Cubemaps (for more accurate reflections that move with the room, rather than the player), and Cascade Shadow Mapping (for realtime dynamic shadows when used with environment lighting and skyboxes).
As shown here, I am using these capabilities to create a full revamp of each and every map. I am going through each map and replacing textures, moving cubemaps, and creating Parallaxes. All of these elements combine to make a beautiful game—moreso than ever before.
I want this mod to look like what we thought Portal 2 looked like when it came out. That's why I'm spending as much time as I can on it. I want this to be the best looking mod for Portal 2 that anyone has ever seen.
